If you love happy endings this is a story you must read. The story of sisters ripped away from each other at a young age. Each being told a different story about that fateful night. Paige not even knowing that Rory existed. Fate plays a big part when Paige needs to get away from her marriage to assess the situation of a cheating husband and a man she has fallen out of love with. A flooded countryside and misdirected detour and unbeknownst to her she is in her dead mothers home town. Alice had promised Nancy before her death that she would never tell Paige the truth about her childhood to ensure that she stays protected. But will Alice be able to keep her promise once Rory shows up.
The dark and the light, Ebony and Aurora. The story behind this story is a really inspiring and heart warming journey, How we should never give up. There are answers out there that we may not even know we are seeking.
Apart from some small editing/ grammar errors this book was an exceptional read. I struggled a little with the to and fro from past to present in the first few chapters, but this quickly passed and I couldn't put the book down.
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review your novel.

A Roux of Revenge (Soup Lover's Mystery #3) by Connie Archer
A mystery to be solved in the little town of Snowflake, people pretending to be someone they are not, mysteries from the past and an old flame trying to break up Snowflake's favourite couple. This novel has it all, a fun filled novel of small town life and how things can become twisted when someone shows up dead. Lucky and Jack pitch in to try and work out who and how this has come about. But they put themselves in the path of danger. will it end in disaster? I won this novel in the Goodreads first reads giveaways. I thorough enjoyed the writing style of Connie Archer. A bit of everything I enjoy in a good story. Thanks for the opportunity.
Defiant by Mara Li (Goodreads Author), Jen Minkman (Goodreads Author), Lis Lucassen

3 stories, all show escape from corrupt authority in dystopian worlds.
All stories are similar in the fact there are the privileged and the ghetto dwellers/fools and Stateless. Society leads the privileged to believe that the other side a are wild lawless and low class. Truth be known they are free from dictatorship. The first story, would be the only exception to this.
The red messenger, shows of uprising and rebellion against the privileged.
The island, can you imagine a world where you are forced to become an adult and leave your parents at age 10? A very story that very much shows a cult like existence. The Star Wars references are fantastic, especially since our family are very much 'geeks'
The tribunal, a corrupt society where the stateless are considered guilty for simply breeching the wall. First time on the tribunal teaches Justa much more about her past than she expects and that the Stateless are not all what she has been lead to believe.
3 great stories. Thanks for the opportunity.

The End of Snow: Murder in Squaw Valley (Book 1 of the Laura Bailey Snow Science Mysteries)
It took me a little while to get into this novel, the first few chapters were very scientifically describing what a snow scientist does. Now this is important information for the main character of the book, however my mi d was often drifting away from the words. The book did take.a major turn for the batter though. I enjoyed the twists and turns and the suspense that was threaded through the story. Getting to know the locals and the main characters was fun. I.won this novel I. A Goodreads giveaway, thanks for the opportunity.
Damages: Justin & Mary (The MacLanes, #2) by R.J. Van Cleave
Loved the storyline. It shows a little how hard it can be for victims of domestic violence to learn to trust again. The family unit is truly special and I love how the boys interact, with each other and their wives. A few twists in the story keep you on edge. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there were some mistakes in the names of the brothers on occasion, words missing and Mary having organism's instead of orgasms. Great novel anyway. I am glad I got to read this novel.
Nona and Me by Clare Atkins
A truly inspiring story about 2 different cultures and how they can be so intertwined, yet so separated. It shows how much racism can hurt and effect communities and relationships. I loved the story of the 2 girls growing up and then losing each other. It's fantastic to see that Rosie comes to her senses and what is truly important. The love of family over young love. How there is good and bad in all races and how something that happens can taint our view of the whole race.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the traditions that are followed and hardships that certain tribes overcome.

Walk On: The Remarkable True Story of the Last Person Sentenced to Death in Australia
What a shitty life this poor woman had. The abuse she suffered through and survived is amazing. She committed a crime and did her time for it, rehabilitating herself through writing and education. A very interesting read.
Jilted by Rachael Johns
A fantastic Australian novel. I love the references that are totally Aussie. This book had me drawn in right from the start and I read it in a day because I couldn't put it down. A touching story showing they way that love can overcome barriers and years. There were tears and smiles. The sex scenes were just right and left enough to the imagination. So well written I can wait to read more from Rachael.
Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
Twists and turns. Amy is truly a psycho bitch. But then is Nick any better? The way the book is written from the 2 different sides is great, it keeps you in both their heads so that you know what they are both planning plotting and feeling. Very weird ending. After all that happens to believe they can end the way they do. It's a mind twister, but a good one to keep you thinking.
Imperfect Chemistry (Imperfect Series #1)
An unusual romance, but oh so enjoyable storyline. Experiments can lead to unexpected outcomes, sometimes good sometimes things don't go as expected. Lucy is about to embark on an experiment to learn about human emotion. What she learns is so much more powerful than she expects. What comes out of her mouth is never what anyone expects, it's a very refreshing look at romance. I enjoyed the quotes at the start of each chapter. A well written and easy novel to read thank you. Want: Trust no one, no one trusts (Numbered, #1)
As one of the top placed medical students Aurelia achieved a placing in Lunar city working at the hospital there. On the way from Earth, that was rebuilt after Ww3 wiped out most of humanity as we know it, her shuttle was attacked. Not knowing the reason behind this or how this was going to change her life, Aurelia met 3 men all of whom would have an important impact on her life and help her to see how things really are between the high I've elitists, the clones and the earth city workers. Meeting her boss Elza was another experience that didn't go as smooth as expected. Elza too would be someone to change and help Aurelia. This was a very interesting read and one that I am sure my son would also love to read. Once again a dystopian novel with the ruling class and the lower classes who are having to work for them to have their comfortable life. This book was gifted to me by the author in exchange for an honest and fair review. Thank you for the opportunity
The Space In Between - Jen Minkman
** spoiler alert ** The witch, the healer and the art student. Tabby tries a spell to connect to their grandparents at the stone circle, little does she know that this is going to open up a whole different world for them all. Moira can't understand why she is being drawn back to the world in between when she sleeps, this mysterious guy she meets up with and believes she needs to help shows her there is more to her mortal life than what she is experiencing. She needs to be true to herself and make some changes.
I love the twists and turns that Jen has written into this novel. The significance of the Angels and of the connection between the two main characters is fantastically written. It truly makes you stop and wonder how much of this in between world that coma patients really experience, maybe none. But she makes it so believable that I would never doubt it. To bring them back or to help them pass over.
A few small spelling and grammatical errors are easy to overlook.
